What will participants experience?
During the 15 minute health check, participating workers will:
Complete a short lifestyle questionnaire
Have their waist circumference, blood cholesterol, blood pressure & blood sugar measured.
Receive immediate feedback booklet, outlining their results.
Obtain Fact Sheets on relevant health topics
Be given advice on follow up by a GP or other health professional if needed
How much do they cost?
Worker Health
Checks are free for companies regardless of company size as they are fully reimbursed
by WorkHealth Victoria. We charge the
same amount per health check as your reimbursement from WorkHealth. This means
there is no net cost to you the employer.
Do you qualify?
As an employer, you are eligible to apply for health checks if you are a Victorian business or have Victorian based operations and pay a WorkSafe Injury Insurance premium, or are an approved WorkSafe self-insurer.
